I am getting worried, because the package I sent to "love those cupcakes" still doesn't seem to have arrived, and it has been a month since i sent it :(
What do i do if it doesn't get there? I do think about this quite a lot because I think it's terrible if she doesn't get her package.. :(

I'm so sorry, i was completly forgotten to put the photo on this blog, I was very busy with our new website getteing online.
but here it is, thanks again kari, i love it all. did you make the bag yourself?? i realy love that one, i sure gonna use that one. tonight we will drink the cocoa.
It's a pitty i can't read the pattern but i will make something nice from the yarn.

"Love those cupcakes" sendt me this lovely parcel a while ago. I'm soooooo sorry I didn't blog this before - long hours at work and some illness at home made me be late. Anyhow - LOOK AT ALL THIS STUFF:

All my men really made that those marshmellows and candy got feets - the bag is filled up with lovely yarn, the magazine is read "a thousand times"...A lovely gift! Thank you soo much and a MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU!

Hello everyone!

Now its only 18 days to christmas and I hope everyone have got there parcels.If someone still have not got it-please let me know.

I hope you all had fun doing this swap.I know I did.

I hope you all have a nice advent .I love this time of year so I startet really early-so there is no stress here in our hose only fun as its getting closer and closer to the hollidays .

Yesterday I whas waching "Fred Clause"with the kids-and I can really recomend it-a nice family christmas film.Me and my bether half whas also going to his annual firm party in the evening-the food was perfect.

Today I am meeting with some of my aunts and cousins -we are having a christmas gift swap party-ish thing.That is something that really sets the christmas mood in me.

So as you all can see the christmas has started here at the west coast of Norway.

I was very excited, wich I had every reason to be. Inside the pakcages there where sock patterns, a storie of how they celebrate christmas in Australia, a beautiful handmade star ornament in white wich sparkles, two skeins of the lovely Jo sharp alpaca kid lustre (sooo soft! possibly my new favourite!! Can't wait to knit something of it.), bamboo needles, Lipton chai latte, a nice letter and some delicious Kiwi Rock candy from a shop where she lives.

I looooved everything! Thank's again, Bec! :-)))))))

This has been a fun swap, hope to do it again next year. :))

Thank you Linda for this great christmas package! The bamboo needles look great, the chocolates were very nice and the jewellery is very much my style! I hope I have time to knit one christmas ornament that i received a pattern for with this pretty yarn, i especially liked the white which has glitter in it :)

Mmm.. Hot chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate chips! This was a fun gift, I have never seen it like this before! looking forward to trying it :D

And a closer look at the jewellery, the brilliant purple color is served no right by this photo, but I think the beautiful shinyness inside comes out in this photo.

My package for the Christmas swap arrived today! I saved it up til after the kids were in bed! This...

...became this! Wow! I was so excited! I felt like Christmas had come early, which it had!!!

A handmade card, chocolate candy, hot chocolate, fabric, a ceramic heart made by women in Sth Africa, quilting pins, sock yarn, bamboo dpns, a sock pattern, a bag pattern, a story, AND....

...my very first ever pair of hand-knit socks! I feel bowled over by Kristina's generosity! I love them! They fit me perfectly, so much so that I feel like Cinderella wearing the glass slippers!

I haven't taken them off yet! Thank you soooo much, Kristina, my Norwegian friend - you're ace!

I received my Christmas Swap items from Gro Vibeke, from Norway. Wow, look at those wonderful socks!! They are exquisite. I also got chocolate (yummy!) and some really nice red yarn and needles. She also included a nice note.

I have received a fab package from Linda. I LOVE, LOVE LOVE it!!!! Excellent stalking, she saw that I love purple and have a Calorimetry queued on my Ravelry page, so I am now the proud owner of a purple one.

I have lots of chocolate, and hot drinks, stitch markers, purple alpaca, and some great patterns from the Drops website. This has been a brilliant swap, thank you Linda!

Hello evryone.

It seems that it did not take me forever to sign you all up with a partner-if anyone for some reason havent got there partner-please let me know.

This is what you have to remember:

When you have sendt and receved youre package-please let me now-and when you get it-please post it on the blog and maby take a photo so we all can see.

List of things you will get for your swap partner:

* Yarn ,needles and pattern(try and find something your friend would really like-maybe something christmasy??)
* Something warm to drink
* a Christmas story from your country (Written in English of course)
* Christmas candy
* A personal gift -try to find out what your friend would like by reading their blogs(I will give you their blog adress)

The whole thing should cost about 20$You are free to use things from your stash. Dont send it later than the 15th of November-but you are free to send it erlier.

The deadline for sending is november 15-but the mail can take some time when it is traveling so far so please try not to be very late,and if you for some reason is not able to send please let me know.I hope this will be fun for everyone and that everyone is sending something they wouldent mind getting them selves-get youre christmas spirit out.
